Standard Cancellation and Refund Schedule

Entitled to: Complete refund excluding handling charges

Handling Charge: €50 for credit card transactions

24-72 Hours Before Charter
Qualified for: Half of the total yacht rental cost

Handling Charge: €25 deducted from the refund amount
Necessities: Solid reason is required; administrative costs apply
Less than 24 Hours Before Charter
Eligibility: No reimbursement possible
Special Case: Consideration for emergency circumstances
Substitute: Possibility of yacht rental credit at the discretion of management
Prerequisites: Necessary documentation for emergency cases
Weather-Induced Cancellations
Our Promise Regarding Weather Conditions
Our utmost concern is safety. In events where weather conditions are considered hazardous for yacht operations by our certified captain, we present adaptable alternatives:
- Total Reimbursement: A full refund is available if it's not possible to reschedule
- Rescheduling: You can change your reservation to another available date free of charge
- Rental Credit: We provide a voucher usable for 12 months from the initial yacht rental date
Procedure for Weather Evaluation
Our analysis of the weather includes:
- Assessment of wind force and directions
- Evaluation of wave heights and sea conditions
- Forecasts of visibility and precipitation
- Coast Guard announcements and cautions
- Professional captain's assessment regarding safety
Time for Decision: Calls on weather-related cancellations are made at least 4 hours before the planned departure.
Medical Emergency Refunds
Unexpected Medical Events
Comprehending that medical emergencies can suddenly occur, the following instances might allow for special refund considerations:
- Sudden undertaken health issues or injuries that require hospital admission
- Demise within the immediate family circle
- Military mobilization or urgent recalls
- Juridical obligations like jury duty or court orders
- Natural catastrophes impacting travel capabilities
Mandates for Documentation
For us to process any requests due to medical urgencies, provide:
- Health certificate or evidence from a hospital
- Obituary notice (if related)
- Authorized military commands
- Legal summoning or notice for jury service
- Travel alerts or declarations of emergency
Procedure: Refunds under emergency circumstances are handled within 3-5 business days once the right documentation is provided.
Cancellations Due to Operational Issues
Technical Complications
If mechanical failings arise with your assigned yacht that can't be promptly resolved:
- Alternate Yacht: An attempt to offer a similar alternative will be made
- Complete Refund: Provided if no suitable replacement is accessible
- Partial Reimbursement: If the alternate yacht's pricing differs
- Acknowledgment: Additional recognition may be granted for the inconvenience
Unavailability of Crew
In exceptional cases where a certified crew is not available:
- An alternative crew will be arranged if possible
- A full refund if the yacht rental fails to proceed
- Rebooking with no extra costs
Refund Execution
Refund through Original Payment Mode
Refunds will be issued to the payment method initially employed for booking:
- Credit Cards: Processed over 5-7 business days
- Bank Transfers: Completed within 7-10 business days
- Cash/Cheque: Within 3-5 business days

A charge of €50 for cancellations exceeding 72 hours prior
Reimbursements through Bank Transfer
A €25 fee for all refunds via bank transfer

Extra fees may be applicable for international transfers
Yacht Rental Credits
Instances for Credit Issuance
Credits for future yacht rentals might be extended instead of refunds under these circumstances:
- Late cancellations (less than 24 hours remaining)
- Cancellations due to weather conditions
- Voluntary requests to change the booking
- Disruptions in operations
Conditions for Credits
- Duration of Validity: Effective for 12 months from the date of issuance
- Transferring Credits: Non-transferable to different persons
- Monetary Value: Corresponds to the entire value of the yacht rental without extra charges
- Utilization: Applicable towards any future available yacht reservations
- Expiry: Extensions beyond the validity of 12 months are not permitted
Reimbursements for Incomplete Services
Service Disruptions
If your yacht trip is interrupted or curtailed due to factors within our jurisdiction:
- Refund apportioned based on the portion of the service not utilized
- A credit for a future yacht trip of the same value
- Complementary offerings or upgrades
Discontinuations Owing to Guests
In the event of an early termination of the yacht trip as a consequence of guest behavior or breaches of safety regulations:
- No reimbursement for the remaining time
- Payment in full is still required
- Possibility of additional fees being charged

If there's a mismatch of opinions regarding a refund, you may:

- Present further details or proof
- Contact consumer protection authorities
- Explore legal options according to the relevant laws

We will provide an acknowledgment of your refund application within a day, assess it as per this refund policy, and deliver a verdict within two days, followed by processing any sanctioned refunds as per the mentioned time frames.

- All requests for refunds should be tendered in a written format
- Refunds are conducted in € irrespective of the currency used originally for payment
- It's highly recommended to obtain travel insurance
- This refund policy is subject to adjustment, with an update issued 30 days in advance
- Refunds are subject to the required taxes and legal regulations
